It’s On …

C and I are off to Vegas … be afraid … be very very afraid.  This night could be epic.  We’re meeting one of my very favorite people in the world there.  So … I’m afraid that y’all are going to have to do without your Lisaisms this evening but I’m sure I’ll have some good stories for everyone tomorrow …   xoxo

O.K., I have to get off the computer right now …

I know I said I was going to bed but I just made an impulse buy for the DVD of “Breakin’.”  Fortunately, I stopped myself before purchasing “Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo” but I’m sort of wondering if that wasn’t a mistake … to not purchase, I mean.  I could totally have people over for a “Breakin’” film festival.  Hmmmmm …. no, no, no … must wait to make decision till morning when evil prescription drug has worn off …

Uh Oh …

some wonderful/troubling plans afoot … there may be potential for a quickie 24-hour Vegas trip this weekend … I am not at liberty to reveal the where or what right now but … the siren song of Vegas always beckons to me … “Lisa … come to Vegas … we love you … everyone is a good time … cute boys … dancing … booze … music … gambling …”  God, I love Vegas.  I realize I was there only a month ago but I am already missing its neon glow and air of debauchery.  Now, what I SHOULD do is stay around this weekend and get some work done.  That’s what I NEED to do.  Good Lisa says “stay, get shit done, be a responsible adult.”  Unfortunately, bad Lisa is WAY louder than Good Lisa.  Bad Lisa says “don’t be a bad time … life is only so long … this is an amazing experience … don’t be a douche.”  Bad Lisa usually wins.  Bad Lisa is sort of a bad-ass.  *Sigh*  Anyway, it will be a game-time decision so I’m going to sleep on it.  Perhaps God will come to me in a dream and tell me the answer … just like He helped Team Christ on Big Brother. 

Dude!  Guess what song I just purchased on Itunes?  “One the Dark Side” by John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band.  From “Eddie and the Cruisers.”  Great movie.  And the guy was super fucking hot.  Michael Pare.  Wherefore art thou, Michael Pare?  Just hopped onto half.com and purchased the movie.  The internet is super super dangerous for people with impulse control issues like myself.  You find yourself ordering 80s movies at midnight.  But it’s $4.76!!!!  Dude … obviously, I can’t pass that up.  Oooh … “I Can Dream About You” from “Streets of Fire” … that was his follow-up movie.  Hmmmmm … I think I thought that movie sucked.  Hard to recall because it was like 20 years ago. 

O.K., I just seriously considered downloading the “Xanadu” soundtrack on Itunes.  No more internet shopping after Ambien!!!  Must  … sign … off …. g’night.
