It’s important. If you don’t stand up for the basic human rights of other people however you can, whether it be by blog, phone calls, emails, etc., you’re an asshole. Yes, that’s right … an asshole. If you tell me that your religion precludes you from supporting the basic rights of every human being on this planet, you’re a blindly following asshole who uses religion as a shield from accepting any moral responsibility for your action.
